Anyone else struggling with a computer/screen addiction? I’m a glorified single mother as my partner is never around he’s on the computer and when he is he isn’t present, he’s looking at his phone for ages. Having to call him to acknowledge his child who is waving at him and trying to get his attention. It’s breaking my heart 😕 I feel both of us deserve better. I’ve confronted him about it saying he’s missing out on some of the best parts of being a parent. Seems to act like he doesn’t realise how much time he’s spending glued to a screen

He honestly sounds neurodiverse.
Get your ducks in a row by starting some sort of secret savings account, take pics of his wage slip/earnings, document everything and when everything is in place END IT.
You only get one life! Life is too short to spend it with someone who prefers the computer, phone, tv over you.
Trauma and neurodivergence can create loops of escapism. The important thing is he is not alone and even Facebook was just sued for 17billion dollars for modeling their platform to be addictive.
I dont mean anything disrepect but do people still carry out due diligence before having a child with someone?
