Okay this is going to sound weird but I want genuine advice, my husband is in the army and being stationed in Germany I’ll obviously be accompanying him, the only issue is I’m pregnant and due in 3 months.
The baby will be born in Germany but I will want them to be classed as British!!! Is there a way to do this with out coming home for like 6 weeks to make sure baby born in England. Can you change nationality? Get a British passport if over seas, how on earth does it all work

A quick Google will tell you this. I thought it was the case as my father was in the forces but I’m 60 now and things might have changed, it seems they haven’t.
Dual citizenship is an excellent thing to have
All my children were born here and are British.
I was born in Germany 35 years ago because my father was in the army. I’m British. You are born on military grounds, so therefore not German.
They will be British, I know several pads brats as we call them 🙂 x
Baby will still be British
Dual citizenship will be able to have both passports
If born in british army hospital they will be classed as british, my husband was born this way and always remained the same – he does not have dual citizenship as mentioned by others because born in british army hospital classed as british x (im sure the actual hospital doesnt matter as such due to why ur over there)
I was born in germany im british as born in military hospital
