Pp if you were due to have a baby soon and could possible go into labour at any point and your partner wanted to go on a night out how would you feel??? He has a history of not replying to texts or calls on a night out and would obviously be very drunk it scares me the fact that he would even want to do this would you think it’s acceptable???

  1. What a whopper. Sadly this doesn’t look great for his support once baby is here 🙁

By all means go on the night out manchild…. but get your crap packed first and taken to your mother’s cos thats where you be moving to.

My pregnancy hormones be real right now lol

  2. My first husband turned up the next day with another woman (whom I knew but was not close to) stinking of drink. Stayed an hour and went back on the pi$$ with said woman.
So I would be un impressed.
Living with an alcoholic and two kids was tough.
    He’s deceased now.
I would say this is a warning of what is to come.

  3. Before I had kids my answer would have been I’d be fuming. Now two kids in I’d be getting it in now before the kids are born 🤣 on the slim chance you go into labour when he’s not there just have a plan of action that doesn’t rely on him.

  4. Definitely not happy, but u no the answer, sadly been there n done that as harsh as it sounds you need to prepare you and baby,if he really cared it wouldn’t even cross his mind to leave you home worrying about baby, labour n his presence xx

  5. What we think is right or wrong could be different to how you feel. And how you feel is valid.
It would piss me off BUT if he aint gonna answer his phone after 1 or 2 calls knowing baby is coming. Then mine would be off till baby arrives 💁🏻‍♀️ and he’d find out on socials that his child has been born

  6. Personally, knowing how long I labour for, it wouldnt bother me. But equally if I needed him he would answer the phone instantly to me. I can 100% trust him in that he wouldnt get black out drunk either.

If you dont think he can be trusted to answer an emergency call if you need him on a night out then id be inclined to tell him you dont want him going out just in case he cant be reached ans you need him.
