Please can Ihave an anonymous post. How do stay at home mums cope when they become sick. My partner works away all week so its just me and my 18 month year old son. We have no family close by and literally no support or people we can leave him with. Weve have only just left him with someone over night recently. Im kind of going insane. I love him more than life and wouldnt change it for the world but im finding it tough. I find it hard to keep him entertained as it is. Ive become ill this week with sickness and the mum guilt of staying in with the tv on for him all day is awful. Im also 17 weeks pregnant with my next one. So worried ive bitten off more than I can chew here. He only goes to nursery for 8 hours. Its a long ass day keeping him entertained. Any advice or even to know im not the only one would help!

If you cant cope with the one you have, why on earth would you do it again.
You can be delighted to be a mom and love your children dearly but it can be brutal at times. It can be brutal and exhausting along with the good experiences.
A lot of what you will see on social media will be a snapshot and a carefully curated version of other moms loves which can make it seek like a walk in the park. They dont show the tough parts or days.
Its normal to feel overwhelmed and struggle to see the solutions. It can be a case of just slogging it out and trying your best to find ways to ease your burden.
We all start out thinking that every minute of our childs day has to be perfect when in reality so long as they are safe, fed and reasonably happy we are doing a good jobs as moms.
I had my two youngest boys very close together and wondered would i struggle which i did at times but it gets easier and better as they get older believe me.
Best of luck. Im sure youre doing a great job. A lot of moms wont take credit for how much work we do its normal.
Why have another baby if you cannot cope with 1
You are doing your best. Don’t be feeling guilty at all for what you have to do when it’s necessary. Keep telling yourself you will get there and it’ll all be ok.
