Please can I have a private post –
My son is 15 years old, and for the last 7 years my ex partner and I have had 50/50 custody with a child arrangement order.
He has since started a new relationship, where my son feels very pushed out.
Recently his Dad has taken his new partner on holiday, and my son thought he was going aswell until the last minute when he realised he wasn’t going.
My son has spent the last month with myself and has hardly heard from his Dad.
My son really doesn’t want to go back to his Dads, but has to because of the child arrangements order.
I’m happy to go back to court and see if the order can be revised. But how likely is the Judge to take into account my son’s feelings about not going to his Dads?
Thank you for reading.

It’ll be child’s choice at 15. Dislike people’s (wont just say men) mood changes with new partners influence, kids should always come first x
No, he really doesn’t have to. At 15 he can self place.
He doesn’t have to do anything. Its upto your son weather he wants to go or not. doesn’t matter if theres a court order in place, it was created 7 years ago.
Usually at 15 they take the child opinion/wants into account
