My 8 month old is having an MRI soon under general anaesthetic, he has sleep apnea so im abit more worried. What’s people’s experiences of their baby having an MRI please? Thankyou

My daughter was 5 month old and had one to diagnose cerebral palsy. She was absolutely fine staff were excellent. Just a shame she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy x
My youngest had an MRI when he was around 6m old. They wouldn’t let me in while he got the general, as its quite distressing sometimes to watch them go under. (I was there for my older son before 2 surgeries a few years later & it was horrible, so I’m thankful I didn’t watch my 6mo). However, he did fine. Waking up afterwards he was happy & looking for good, despite being so unwell & we personally had no issues from it.
My older son had issues with breathing due to his adenoids & tonsils, and there was no issues from him waking either after his, both times.
