Help perimenopause spread. I am slowly getting fatter and fatter, I’ve always been a size 10 with a podge belly but in the last year I’ve got up to a tight size 14. What helped other woman to shift the weight?

  1. The only thing that’s genuinely helped me lose weight is Reta. I actually lost quite a lot of weight a couple of years ago because I was unwell and became really slim. After that, I got back into the gym and trained for over a year, eating well, intermittent fasting, and generally not eating a huge amount. I was doing everything right, but nothing seemed to shift the weight.
I did have my 4th baby at 40 so that didn’t help either .

Then perimenopause hit, and it felt like my body just started changing. My legs were filling out again, my stomach was rounding, I was getting a double chin, and although I was only around a size 12–14, I looked bigger than I felt I should for my shape. I was exercising consistently and eating well, but honestly, nothing worked.

Eventually, someone told me about Reta (retatrutide). I know it isn’t FDA-approved, so I’m not saying it’s for everyone, but for me it has been absolutely amazing. It’s the first time in my life I’ve reached a weight where I genuinely feel slim and happy with my body. I’ve never felt like this before. This is summer 2024 verse now at 2026. A massive diff. I’ll be 46 in November. I only take a little each week and use it as a tool along side my diet and the gym. Xx
