Father & son combo Jesus & Jorge Lopez make history calling NHL Showcase

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Golden Knights Spanish radio play-by-play announcer Jesus Lopez and his son Jorge Lopez make history as the first father-son combination to call a nationally televised NHL game.

The NHL invited Jesus and Jorge to New York City to call the Stars and Avs NHL Showcase game. The showcase game was also a ‘Multiverse game’ that the father-son combination called live.
