Hi,
could I have a anonymous post please.
Im currently starting the process of an adhd assessment for my daughter, im just wondering how long this took for people in the same situation?
The school are gunna do their referal/assessment and they’ve also sent me a number to ring myself. They think my daughter may have a sensory issue also i.e constantly hungry, toileting, biting clothes/nails etc.
Also any techniques that helped you at home, my daughter shows alot of repetitive behaviours and on the go 24/7 and dont stop talking/asking questions 😂 Thanks

Through the school.its been 4 years and still waiting
Depends we went with RTC it’s faster we waited 7 months in total from start to finish if gone normal nhs it’s years xx
12 months in Scotland from date of referral! Girls are feral compared to boys (not always the case and not the case for everyone just my personal opinion through having one of each) my step son has adhd and he’s completely different. (He lives with us full time) Think hormones come into play with girls making it havoc emotionally for them sometimes.
