Could I have a private post please?

Over stimulated mum here 🙋🏻‍♀️

I can’t for the life of me switch off..

Single mum to 3 children – one which is currently on the pathway for ASD.

Daughter also having a lot of health issues & we’re backwards and forwards to appointments.

Work full time

Have health issues my self

No support around me

Dad only has the kids when I’m at work

Found my self occasionally lying that I’m at work so I can catch a break

Up and down with my weight due to stress eating

Not looking after my self at all!

Week off work during the summer holidays is more stressful than being at work 😅

Feel like I’m rushing things that I should be taking in while they’re small.. just to catch up with other things or just to have that time to my self when they’re all in bed.

Guess I’d just like to know, that I’m not alone?

I feel the worse mum sometimes for having those alone moments or not doing as much as we could on days off & for just feeling so overwelmed.

  1. You aren’t alone. I have three on my own . And I could have wrote this. Mum guilt can be so cruel . You showing up for them every single day. Also can’t fill all those cups when yours is empty … so a white lie or two about work shifts seems like an amazing idea . X surely we are all just winging it 🥲💛 I too wish’s that I wasn’t so stressy and could take in all the “ small things” whilst mine are little . But honestly , as sole care giver …. As long as you’re present and doing your best … they are loved and cared for …. You’ve got nothing to feel guilty for xx
