Can I have a pp please?
I’ve just split from my partner, he doesn’t live with me, but he’s here most days. We never go out or do anything, if we do all he wants to do is go to the pub. He drinks 3-4 bottles of becks a night and then snores his head off all night long but doesn’t class it as a drink.
He earns more money than me, but other than buying the shopping once a fortnight if that, he spends all his own money on himself.
We are supposed to be going on holiday very soon and he’s paid for some, but I’ve paid for the majority. We are constantly arguing over him drinking and then the other night he said I wish you were more like “a friend of mine” who has a good lifestyle and likes to go out and have fun with her friends. It really upset me which is why we’ve split. This is my best friend he’s talking about. And now he’s ranting at me telling me to grow up and that I can’t have everything- meaning I want to go the pictures or for a meal, things like that and not just sit in a pub or at home drinking. Am I wrong for ending it? I don’t know what to do about the holiday that I’ve spent a fortune on!! Thanks xx
