Family are horrible.
Basically I’ve never been close with my brother less so since he got married to this awful woman. She wants everything a certain way. She doesn’t allow anyone to sit on her sofa unless they are spotless themselves…. I wouldn’t know as I’m never invited round 😂. It was recently my nieces birthday we weren’t invited round at all. I gave her the presents last week and I always get a snarky comment about how much did I spend and did I buy them at a charity shop… Does it matter they’re gifts for a child..? But it seems important to her about how much it costs and where it came from.. when questioned by my parents why I wasn’t invited my brother claims ignorance like sorry we thought you’d be busy… My daughter is autistic she can be loud she can get excited. She also doesn’t give a shit about your spotless house. That’s probably why I’m not invited! Just feels like as she’s autistic she doesn’t fit into their perfect Instagram photos..always banging on about having lots of friends and family around them and how “fam” is important. Well how about include my daughter in things? She has feelings too. She often cries that she doesn’t get to play with her cousins. It breaks my heart but i try to tell her she’s got me and I’ll never let her down.. I’m past caring about them they can shove it. Just wanted to see my niece and nephew but one day when they’re older they might understand I wasn’t there as I wasn’t invited to be there.
