Hi, has anyone had a child with nasal polyps?
My now 12 year old was told he had quite big up each nostril last year, been fobbed off for years saying it his asthma, hayfever etc. Finally got an appointment with ENT next month but does anyone know what they might do at first app then going forward? Can we choose to have them removed going by his symptoms?Just any info etc
This is some of his symptoms
Constant blocked/stuffy nose
Difficulty breathing through nose
Mouth breathes-dry lips
Noisy breathing
Reduced smell
Snores
Noisy nose when awake and asleep
Runny but blocked nose a lot
Clears throat a lot/small cough
Struggles to sleep sometimes
Struggles to breathe when eating
