An Irish-Palestinian father is urgently calling for the Government to help evacuate his Irish family from Gaza – as he and other Palestinians also campaign for suitable family housing here.
Khalid El-Astal (31), who lives in Dún Laoghaire, believes his family are among the last Irish citizens left in the war-torn Strip. Yet, despite their Irish passports, they have been unable to leave.
