Please can I have some advice and this to be posted anonymously!
I’ve had three children and with my first two I had 9 month off but with the third baby being my last I would love to have a year off. And of course it would work better as when the baby goes to nursery we will be entitled to 30 hours then. If I went back after 9 months I would have to find that money each month and it’s not worth working as it will just go all to nursery fees.
I know that having 12 month off means the last 3 month I won’t get anything but we get universal credit. Would they see that I wouldn’t get anything and based off my partners earnings would they give me extra or would we have to live off just my partners wage for 3 months?
