My friend never feeds me when I go round.
Let me start by saying , I have been friends with this woman since school .
Today she asked me if I wanted to pop round to hers for a cuppa. When I got there she said sorry you’ll have to excuse me but I’ve put myself some lunch in the air fryer . I was like oh ok. Thought nothing of it but we are good friends …. I would never sit and eat in front of her without offering her some .
She literally sat and ate the whole lot in front of me and I even had to make my own coffee.
She has a 7 month old and said it was the only time she’d get to eat before her toddler came home from nursery . (My toddler is at nursery today )
How would you feel about this ?
It happens a lot …
I could understand if I’d popped round unannounced but I came round within the hour of her asking me to and so she’s physically put that lunch on knowing I’m coming .
Whenever she comes to mine I either cook or put out nibbles . Also she was like this before she had baby number 2

Why not just talk to her about it? If you have been good friends for all these years then communication should be natural. Just ask her 🤷🏼♀️ it’s that simple
I would take my own food next time. If I invited someone over, I would offer them something, biscuits etc
Some people are takers I know a few friends like that
& some people are givers & sharers
I’d make sure when she comes to you offer her no food only coffee
Uber Eats yourself something to her house next time it happens and ask her if she needs or wants anything.
It’s probably just a family or cultural difference.
We’ve been raised to offer food to visitors.
Maybe she’s worn out, offer to make and take lunch round
My mum always said, you never eat alone, even if that means sharing the meal on the plate in front of you…..and I live by it.
This ain’t a real issue surely 🫣🤣 is the admin bored? Just making up posts, because if you ask chat gpt it will definitely do better than this one
How petty 🤣
Take your own food round. lol
Her food is for her and her child…..
