Replying to @Meriem I feel like this should go without saying, but this is general advice that applies to MOST babies. Of course there are always exceptions and some newborns will nap better in a dark room, but most will not or will have day/night confusion because of it. As a sleep consultant, my main focus is getting your baby the best night sleep so YOU can sleep well. Super long day naps usually make their night sleep worse, but you should aim for over 1 hour per nap, no more than 2 hours.
