In a post mortem report, consultant histopathologist Dr Xenia Tyler, gave the medical cause of death as placental insufficiency due to, or because of, a massive perivillous fibrin deposition (MPFD).
MPFD is a condition where excessive fibrous tissue around the placenta causes reduced growth of the foetus. There are typically no symptoms, and it is rarely detected before birth.
The post mortem also included that a head injury was caused by rotational forceps delivery.
A two-day inquest will take place in September.
