Hackett London has launched a new SS25 campaign featuring Spanish Formula One racing driver Carlos Sainz Jr. alongside his former rally driving champion father, Carlos Sainz Sr.

The father and son touch highlights Hackett’s wide appeal and the SS25 collection includes sophisticated formalwear and relaxed casual pieces that cater to all generations.

Carlos Sainz Jr., who has won four Formula One Grand Prix titles across 10 seasons, “embodies youthful energy and a contemporary edge”, while his father, who won the World Rally Championship drivers’ title with Toyota in 1990 and 1992, “represents sophistication, confidence and wisdom”.

The campaign presents a carefully curated selection of looks that embody Hackett’s signature style, with a focus on relaxed blazers, jackets and jersey options.

Soft, breathable cotton and silk knitwear enhance the collection’s light, airy appeal, while classic patterns, stripes and refined prints also feature prominently, with short sleeve shirts, linen polos, and tees offering a fresh seasonal update.

His father epitomises timeless elegance in a Hackett London navy blue ‘Travel Suit’ of 100% fine wool, paired with a crisp cotton twill shirt and a sophisticated double-breasted pure linen waistcoat.

Other SS25 collection highlights, as sported by Sainz Jr., include a suede overshirt in sand beige over a fine cotton and silk mix polo, with selvedge denim jeans and ‘Burton’ tassel loafers, while Sainz Sr. embraces functionality with a ‘Velospeed’ field jacket, a cotton and silk mix jersey top, classic chinos and polished leather loafers.

Sainz Jr. said: “I’m very proud to be joining the Hackett family in 2025 alongside my father. I’ve been a fan and customer of the brand for many years, and they are no strangers to the world of motorsport, so it feels natural for our paths to cross and for us to begin an exciting relationship together.

“One of the things I have inherited from my dad, apart from the love and passion for our sport, is his sense of style and taste for quality clothing. Hackett fits perfectly with my understanding of style.”

Sainz Sr. added: “The relationship with Hackett London goes far beyond a mere partnership. It’s a new journey that starts today, but its foundation is built on experiences, heritage and shared values. Family, craftsmanship, and elegance are things that I cherish, and Hackett London represents all of them.

“Also, having the opportunity to share this experience with my son for the first time ever is something extremely special for me. In terms of style, I consider myself a classic man when it comes to my wardrobe. The brand’s approach to timeless and traditional garments with a twist of modernity makes me feel confident that I have plenty of options to dress appropriately for every occasion.”

As Formula One continues to captivate audiences worldwide, the collaboration with Hackett London coincides with Carlos Sainz Jr. joining the British racing team Atlassian Williams Racing this season.
