Hi private post please

So little back story my daughter 12 years old is autistic and has major fear of the dentist due to them being awful with her a few years back.

Fast forward to now, she is 12 years old and has teeth growing totally out of place ontop of each other etc. my guess is she would need some of them out and a brace fitting. This is where the problem starts !! She had an awful experience when she was around 8 she was physically pinned to the dentist chair by as many people as they could find to hold her down while they took a molar out that was causing her toothache! She has never been back since. if I so much as even mention the dentist she freaks out. She now isn’t actually registered at a dentist because it’s been so long since she went they have de registered her.

What can I do here is there any services that can help her? Is there anyway she can be just put through to maybe a hospital to be knocked out and sort it all out it’s actually really cruel seeing her so upset over it but she is now in high school and is very conscious of her teeth she won’t smile properly because she says she hates her teeth I would love for her to be able to have them sorted she says she does want them fixing but she just can’t bring herself to go into a dentist 😩😩

I suppose what I am looking for if anyone has been through similar? How did you get round it?
