Hi could i be anonymous please, i could use some advice… so i have 2 children 12,5 the problem is they are treated extremely different in terms of fairness by my dad.
He always treats my eldest, spends more time with my eldest even when i refuse it’s both or none, she has her own phone so he messages her, plans meet ups when she’s out with friends (6 weeks holidays have been difficult) and just genuinely treats it as a game to pee us off.
Totally toxic.
don’t get me wrong i have told him a million times he’s treating my children unfairly and he then turns nasty telling everyone we are keeping him from the children if i try and pull them away.
He has sacked us from a job we were only there to help him in the first place and as he is also our landlord he is now threatening to evict us just because i told him taking my TWO children into a bike shop and buying one a £400 bike was out of order.
The little one didn’t even get a penny – the elder one did not need a new bike.
Apart from keeping them from him which is causing major issues with my eldest as she has been totally brainwashed that he’s a saint… can anyone advise me on what else to try..
I feel like I’m pushing my daughter away for the greater good and I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place 😔
