Hardwick Hall Hotel to celebrate Mother's Day with lunch

Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield, County Durham, is turning its attention to mothers on March 30.

The hotel, renowned for hosting everything from award ceremonies to large-scale celebrations, will hold a special three-course Sunday lunch in the Boyne Suite and the Coleman Suite.

The event will feature live piano music and a gift for each mother.

This will be served between 12pm and 3pm, costing £29.95 per adult and £16.95 for children aged between three and 12.

The menu includes starters of rose-infused melon with passionfruit and blood orange gel, leek and potato soup with crispy spring onions, giant Yorkshire pudding with an onion jus, traditional prawn cocktail, and sweet potato risotto, among others.

For the main course, guests can choose from Durham beef, roast turkey breast, leg of lamb, roast pork loin, red mullet with buttered kale and langoustine bisque, and a vegetarian spiced butternut squash and lentil pie.

A dessert buffet, followed by tea and coffee, will conclude the meal.

Bookings can be made by emailing events@hardwickhallhotel.co.uk or calling 01740 620253.

The Mother’s Day celebration is part of a series of special events at Hardwick Hall Hotel, which include Easter wreath-making sessions, a children’s Easter disco, and a divas and superstars bottomless brunch.
