#creatorsearchinsights When can I get my baby in a routine? ❤️Your baby does not need to be in a routine before the age of 3 months. They are still so little and up until 3 months I always recommend to parents to cuddle and hold your baby as much as you can and want. This will not make a rod for your own back! ❤️Up until 3 months new borns need a lot of sleep! Feeding throughout the night is developmentally expected. We want and need babies to be feeding throughout the night. ❤️Around 3-4 months (if it feels right for you) You can start to implement a routine. You can start noticing signs of tiredness and trying to look at the awake windows between each nap to help with preventing over tiredness. ❤️Sometimes routines can have a negative impact initially on the parents stress levels! You’re adapting to a new baby, clock watching and implementing a routine can be stressful when they don’t need a routine at such a young age! For others they can feel it is something they have control over in this new life of minimal control. ❤️It is not recommended for babies to sleep anywhere except in your room or with you until they are 6 months old.
