A Private post please
I’ve been with my “partner” and father of my children for 20 years and I really can’t stand him. Being honest.
He gets on my nerves, he has lots of hobbies and they are taking over our home. I won’t go into details as he’ll know I’m talking about him if he sees this. The stuff is everywhere and he has a cheek to argue with me if I leave a magazine on the side! I’ve been slowly downsizing and selling things I don’t want. He spends his money on more and more crap to do his hobbies.. I just want to live in a house again not a warehouse. Some days he doesn’t annoy me at all and we can just talk but it doesn’t last long. I think we’re very different people he likes the shit every where and I don’t. Our children are getting caught up in this as he’ll moan about their stuff everywhere but he doesn’t seem to notice the piles of shit that are his!
What would any do in this situation? I’ve tried the softly approach of “maybe one hobby could be shelved for now” but no. 🙄

Can’t stand him ? Arguing ? Kids are in middle ? Think it’s maybe time to separate
Sounds like a hoarder, if you have a shed or something tell him that can be his hobby house.
I’d just move it all to 1 location. So it’s not overtaking the whole house and get a shed outside
