Could I have a private post please
Basically my son 16mobths was due to start nursery on the 1st September due to my work commitments.
On his first tester day I left after a hour with him sobbing just because the atmosphere and everything just felt off and I wasn’t happy a few factors to back this up is in that hour , he had toys snached off him and the teachers were like “no child” while sat down not correcting any behaviour or intervening , the same child was pouring water over the youngest boys head and the staff had the same response poor child was sat getting soaked and I had to tell the staff that the smallest child was climbing in the folded away climbing frame which they panicked and removed him , visual factors it was very clinical nothing stimulating, no music or white board or back ground noise , a water tray with washing up liquid on a hard slippy floor,The steps to a slide on the concrete but the bottom of the slide on the carpet , at first my partner thought I was been petty because I didn’t want to leave him and I do suffer with anxiety so sometimes can’t trust myself in these situations because I don’t know If I’ve exaggerated out of stress or not anyways I tried again the following day after complain to the staff , I was met coldly the next day , and everything I complained about seemed exaggerated and focused on the next time I went which again just felt fishy and off but this time I left him on his own for 40 mins while I waited outside they had to come get me because he was still so upset , so followed by a third tester day I wanted my partner to take him to experience it and tell me what he thinks of the place , he stayed 10 mins and left him for 1 hour , he confirmed he also didn’t like the place so I again brought up my concerns , I was called by the nursery staff to state the camera had been watched and they didn’t do anything wrong but I’m not happy with this as i wasn’t complaining about what was done it was more what wasn’t done and yet again thought this to be a shitty response , anyways they’ve put his funding code in the system but have wrote him in for the wrong days , this was the top of it for me as set days was needed for work which I feel is the only reason anyone pays and leaves there baby for childcare , they have still sent me £650 odd bill but he has not attended anything but his tester days due to there own mix up on his needed hours and I requested him to be withdrawn from the nursery , am I still obligated to pay this?
