Michelle Keegan gives birth to baby girl and shares unusual name

The Ten Pound Poms actress has given birth to her first child with husband Mark Wright

Michelle Keegan has shared the first photograph of her child after giving birth to a baby girl with husband Mark Wright.

Ten Pound Poms actress Michelle, 37, gave birth last week with Heart FM DJ Mark, 38, by her side.

She shared the first picture of their first child, a black and white photo of her tiny hand clasped between her own hand and Mark’s hand.

Michelle captioned the post: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl.”

Sharing her name, she added: “Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25.”

The former Coronation Street actress revealed she was expecting her first baby with Towie favourite Mark back in December.

Michelle and Mark – who have been married for nine years – shared a photo of Michelle cradling her growing baby bump on the beach.

They captioned the post: “2025 is going to be a special one for us…”

Mark last month revealed his excitement and nerves about becoming a dad for the first time.

Appearing on BBC The One Show, he said there were ‘very exciting times ahead’, but admitted: “It’s a little bit nervewracking, but I’m ready. I’m excited.”

Mark previously revealed the pair didn’t have a smooth start to their relatioonship.

Michelle and Mark married in 2015 after first meeting backstage at The X Factor and subsequently bumped into each other at numerous other events.

“I chased her for a while,” Mark revealed on the Private Parts podcast hosted by Jamie Laing.

“Basically she gave me the elbow for about a year and then finally I got my way, after a lot of work.”
