The father of an 11-year-old boy who was seriously injured in a stabbing incident at a north Dublin school has said his son was “centimetres from death” and questioned why no politician has contacted the family to explain why there will be no accountability for the attack.
Stephen Geraghty said that he hopes his young son, Mason, will be released from Temple Street Hospital tomorrow to continue his recovery.
