Hello,
My son has just informed me that he is going a way with his dad next year for a football tournament for the weekend. The football club and his dad have both not let me know anything about this. His dad does not tell me anything anyways his communication is terrible.
I’ve never missed a football game even when he is with his dad I still attend.
Do i have a right to be angry with both the football club and his dad as I would love to be there to support him. Surely the club should be sending details to both parents knowing we are separated. I could have missed out on this opportunity as I will need to take time off work so I need to know in advance.
Thanks

It’s nothing to do with the football club to tell you, so you shouldn’t be angry with the football club? The organisation that goes into a football club, parents should be able to be civil to communicate themselves, at the end of the day organising/running a football club is voluntary. They haven’t got time to message both parents because they cannot communicate with each other. Personally between you and the father nothing to do with the football club.
We have a football WhatsApp group for both my boys teams plus Spond
How do you keep track of matches etc?
Son and Dad time. You’re not together anymore and It works for mstches for 2 hours or so but, I understand why you are not included so leave them to it.
Maybe your son wants to just go away with his dad and only told his dad about it or gave him the letter from the coach?
