💓 ppp Hi, I wonder if I could have some advice/ opinions, I have a YB of 9 yrs old he was premature, since he was born he has struggled with chest infections etc, and admitted to hospital 2/3 times eventually given inhalers.
My now ex partner has never agreed or accepted that our boy has asthma, as well as not allowing him to have the flu jab or really any medical attention unless it a broken bone.. ( it’s not for religious beliefs) therefore I’ve had to give inhaler without his knowledge sometimes especially when my YB was younger, I’ve gone far and beyond to ‘heal’ my YB holistically, some things have improved things etc,( by the way I agree he has to go to doctor if need be, I’m not against medical intervention at all! ) and to this day I still worry if my Boy gets sick or even a cough etc, because I never once got any support from my partner just criticism for suggesting he needs to see a doctor, and often i would get the blame for my child being sick. Has anyone else been through this? How did you cope with a sick child? I’ve never spoke about this to other mums.
My ex and I are not together anymore, ( i got out for the sake of my childs wellbeing) but I never believed that a parent would go against helping their child if necessary.

When child in your care and sick get him to the doctors get the help he needs dont let him suffer. Its neglect on dad’s part for not getting the medical help
