Looking for advice
We’ve had our dog since he was a puppy. He’s now 5.
He’s the best dog and has the best temperament but recently he’s taken a real dislike to my son
My son is 10 and my daughter is 15
He’s grown up with them and has always been fine
Our dog growls when my son strokes him and sometimes won’t go near him then other times he’s absolutely fine and they’ll play together with no issues
My son has never hurt him or been unkind so I am lost and the dog is fine with everyone else
Obviously we are watching all interactions closely and don’t leave them alone
The dog has been to the vet’s incase he’s sore or similar but no issues raised
Has anyone ever had any similar issues and how did you resolve

I’d seek advice/guidance from a dog behaviourist.
It may well be the new smell surrounding your boy as he’s at that age where his hormones will be changing, I mean I don’t know it’s just a guess and maybe something to research 🧐
Get your son to give the dog treats so your dog sees him as the fun one xxxx
