I have been with my partner 2 year and love and trust him completely our relationship is great. He wants us to try for a child. I am unsure about this, I am not against it but scared to as it’s a huge lifetime commitment. I have a older child to my previously relationship that didn’t work out so was a single mother working full time and it was hard guess im scared it could happen again? Has anyone else had this? What would people’s thoughts be? How did you deal with it etc? Advice please?

Your partner? He wants to try have a child? Then have him have a commitment to a legal marriage. That gives you  a lifetime legal commitment to support the child. Have the marriage before the child is conceived.
