My daughter has dark hair and recently had head lice I keep using nit lotion and they go but the little white dead eggs I cannot get out I’ve tried vinegar and olive oil to comb but not much come out any recommendations pls

White eggs are also hatched eggs which means the hatched lice could be laying more, just keep going with the treatment and continue to wash brushes, hairbands and pillow cases/towels. They can be a nightmare to rid of! I’d keep her hair up too as she could be re-contracting them from nursery/school
When my youngest had them I used diluted white vinegar as a preventative (face covered with warm flannel to protect her eyes)
Then I used a straightener to pop the eggs.
She never got them again x
Wash all bedding on boil wash and just have sit there for ages combin them out with whatever u use
Nit comb and conditioner
You are best to literally pick every single one out with your fingers. Push your thumb nail against your forefinger and drag them down full length of the hair. They are ‘stuck’ to the hair and need individually removed. Not all of the dead eggs will fall or comb out.
Just section the hair and be methodical.
Put on a movie, give her some snacks and settle in to get them all out.
Get an electric nit comb, they are amazing! They beep when they find some and so easy to clean xxx
Tea tree shampoo from body shop and nit comb while conditioner still in hair
Tea tree conditioner leave the conditioner in while combing out the eggs with a nit comb
Shave her head. Sounds drastic, was a final boss move. They just don’t want to leave 😪
Make sure you using nitty gritty comb too as that helps
