I have a 15 year old son who is struggling to make friends, he had a close friend who shared the same interests and got on really well, then that friend got in with the group of friends my son was once close with but they distanced from him, and now the last few months close friend hasn’t spoken to him, he asked why and he got was “your to serious” this came out of the blue as my son isn’t serious but he is very mature. He has others he speaks to from school and plays online with them but they don’t want to go out, I’m struggling with suggestions for my son and feel like he’s becoming depressed in himself and I don’t want him feeling like this 😢 he wants to be going out doing things with friends but doesn’t have any that want to go out and his old friendship group have basically just stopped talking to him it’s really sad.
