I’ve spent years saying, “Your body, your choice, your space,” building my girls’ confidence and teaching them to feel comfortable in themselves.
Now my oldest is 11 and since finding out we’re going to the seaside, it’s been “Bikini this, bikini that.” 👙😂
Me: “Your body, your choice.”
Her: “Exactly.” 😭
Me: 🧍♀️ …I really walked myself into that one. 😂
Now how the feck do I change her mind without making it an issue or undoing everything I’ve taught her? 😮💨🤌😂
Because apparently I’ve raised a confident girl… and now she’s using my own words against me. 💀
