“All that trouble… somebody’s looking for her.” And they won’t stop until they get her and bring her back home – at any cost. Dark Star Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for Black Heat, an action thriller from filmmaker Wes Miller. This initially premiered at the 2024 American Black Film Festival last year, and will be out in theaters at the end of March to watch. “Two parents. One night. Zero options.” Two frustrated parents infiltrate a top level drug dealer / pimp’s apartment complex to rescue their teenage daughter. Fueled by love and a fierce sense of justice, they must navigate a network of deceit and betrayals, relying on their own cunning, strength, and courage to outsmart those who would exploit the innocent. Yowza! Sounds wild. And it’s not actually a comedy though this easily could be. The film stars Jason Mitchell, Tabitha ‘Dreamdoll’ Robinson, NLE Choppa, Han Soto, and Shiobann Amisial. Looks intense!
