Please could I have a private post?
My daughter (15) has struggled with socialising pretty much her whole life. I don’t know how to help her. She is a really sweet and kind girl but ends up putting people off with her awkwardness. Secondary school has been hell for her. She has been dropped by friend after friend and left out of parties, never invited out. She spends most of her time inside the house hanging out with me and her Dad.
Are there other teenage girls out there like this? She is so incredibly lonely and I just worry about her so much. I am hoping 6th form or college will help. I was hoping to hear some happy stories from parents whose children may have been similar and had a better experience at 6th form.
