We don’t aim for the center of a babies mouth when latching. And when we do? They slurp the n!p like a straw (ouch!) – it might eventually settle into pain free feeding as they draw the n!p farther into their mouth, but getting there is painful at best and causes damage & potentially you dreading the latch-on at worst. So try this to help your baby open WIDE by pointing the n!p 🆙 so they have to open W I D E and come up and over onto the n!pple. 🫶🏼 Their nose should be free of your bre@st. 🫶🏼 Their chin should be planted into the bre@st. 🫶🏼 You should be able to LET GO OF THE (.) and they maintain the latch Can’t get a latch that doesn’t hurt?
